This guide shows you how to setup the ChaCha3 core client on your computer to interact with the network.

You are required to install the following:

Retrieve the code for ChaCha3 core from the repository from your terminal.

git clone

Install the required modules using NPM

cd chacha3
npm install --production

Once the modules have completed installing, you can run the core server

npm start

To access the server, you have to connect to it via IPC using the shell. Learn the basic shell commands in the next step.

It is recommended that you keep the code up to date. Periodically fetch the latest code from the repository and do a quick restart of the client.

git pull

Then, run the install again. You only need to run the install once after pulling the latest code. Next, start the core as usual.

npm install --production
npm start
